The situation
The team was swimming in supplier emails: order confirmations, delivery changes, price lists, invoices, and the occasional urgent problem buried between them. Reading, sorting and answering that inbox took roughly 40 hours of working time every week, spread across people whose actual job was running projects.
The build
We built an AI inbox that sits in front of the existing mailbox. Every incoming message is read and categorized, the routine ones get a reply drafted in the company's own tone, and anything that needs a human decision is escalated with the context already summarized.

What changed
The team reviews and sends instead of reading and writing. The roughly 40 weekly hours that used to go into the inbox now go into billable project work, and response times dropped because nothing waits until someone has time to dig.
We keep client cases anonymous unless the client has asked to be named. The numbers are the ones we report to the client, on the client's own data.
